SCG specializes in sourcing, developing and trading emission reductions from greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction projects. SCG works with project developers throughout the emission reduction creation process, from initial assessments, developing full project documentation, steering the project through formal approval processes, and monitoring and verifying GHG reductions.

SCG will then contract with project developers to purchase these emission reductions at a fixed price over a period of time, guaranteeing a steady flow of revenue generation.

2          Project Development and Investment

SCG can provide integrated finance, technology and development capabilities to projects in several different sectors, including heating efficiencies, leakages, coal mine methane destruction and N20 abatement. As a project developer, SCG contracts with the owners of assets that have the potential to create emission reductions, to finance, build and operate projects.

3          Buying Carbon Emission

With the ability to take projects from origination all the way to the market, buyers can choose from a wide variety of emission reduction types (CERs, EUAs, ERUs, VERs), technologies, GHG reduction methodologies, geographic areas, risk profiles, terms, volumes and sustainability co-benefits. SCG is able to structure transactions to fit any buyer’s needs.

SCG has extensive experience in providing organizations in a regulated marketplace with support in bringing emission reduction projects into the market, as well as expert evaluations of GHG positions and inventories.
